💡 "The Friday Audit — Why AI Makes a Terrible Therapist but a Brilliant Mirror"

It's Friday. You're tired. You're tempted to dump your week into ChatGPT and ask: "How did I do?"

Don't.

Not because AI can't reflect your week back to you — it can. But it will agree with whatever framing you give it. Tell it you had a bad week, and it becomes a grief counselor. Tell it you crushed it, and it becomes a hype man. Neither is honest.

The Move:
Instead of asking AI to evaluate your week, ask it to interrogate it:

"Ask me five uncomfortable questions about what I prioritized this week. Don't let me off the hook."

Then answer them yourself. Out loud or in writing. The AI doesn't need to know the answers — you do.

Why this works:
- AI is a mirror, not a judge. The value isn't in its opinion — it's in forcing yours to surface.
- Reflection without structure becomes rumination. Five questions is structure.
- The human move is the honesty. AI can't audit your intentions — only you can.

> "AI can hold up a mirror a thousand times. Only you can decide if you like what you see."
